It seems we have these bench mark events regularly, that change our world. The Pearl Harbor Attack, the Kennedy Assassination, and 9/11/2001!! It's never something anyone sees coming, or can eb ven a imagion happening. I suspect we are about due for another earth shattering event, but what? I hope it's an HONEST ELECTION in 2024, but that would be out of the question, don't you think?
Raining pretty decent here in the eastern TX panhandle. The work we needed to do today is on an engine with no weather cover, so we're sitting at the gas plant office doing computer work, trying to stay awake

We have a full day of work today here in the city then heading back up to the lake house for a couple of days. I’m hoping the rain will hold off for a few days up there because I have one last deck to get stained. I got it power washed last weekend and ready to go. Fingers crossed.
The wife and I have to come back early Saturday morning. We are teaching seminars all day in Edmond.

Hope everyone is doing good. We are doing math to see exactly when Grumpy can quit working for good. Bless his heart. I think he is getting tired. If he actually retired he and this chair will become one. I'll NEVER see him up on his feet and moving around EVER again. Lol
I am dreaming of that day myself.
It’s been the worst day work day I can remember. My skid steer died about a quarter of a mile from my truck down a road I was clearing, and I ended up walking out to the truck for tools and parts 4 times. Finally, I figured it might be the battery, so I unhooked my trailer and was able to drive within 100 yards to the skid steer. I really thought carrying the battery on my shoulder back to the truck was going to do me in.
I had the battery tested and ended up buying a new one.
I sure hope tomorrow is better.
