Good evening folks,
Was in a Zoom meeting from 9am to 6pm today. What a bunch of crap. I did turn my video off once and took my dogs to the groomer and another time went down a worked on my boat lights. Got all the colored interior lights installed and working great, Came back and no one ever knew I was gone. I love Zoom.
I did have my Iphone with me just in case I was called on but it never happened. Lol!!

Trying my hand at pork ribs on the smoker today. First time for me, cooked some in crockpot a few times is all. Back rack has some bourbon molasses and Head Country rub on it, front one some new stuff I picked up yesterday. Started them at 11, hope they're done by 6ish. Still debating whether to sauce later or not?

I’m with ya. I have a slab of pork ribs and a couple of pork loins in the smoker today

I had intended to do ribs yesterday or today, but all of a sudden my wife’s afraid all the smoked meat I’m making is going to cause cancer. I told her I’m going to die of something, and I’d rather die happy.

Yea, I was wondering what y'all were gonna eat if you invited me. I could have brought pizza I guess for you guys. Oh well, I guess if it's real good you will have to cook more next time. Enjoy!!!

Oh man ... I couldn't have been lazier today if I tried. Just one of those days where I had the list ... And Grumpy was outta my hair ... And ...

I dunno what to tell anybody ... Just one of "those" days ... Sheesh ... I suppose I ought to figure out something for dinner. Y'all think he would be too upset if I asked him to take me out??!?!

(Nah ... Just kidding!! It's WAY too late in the day to be getting dressed. )

I am gonna give him a back rub tonight when we go to bed, though. He didn't even fuss at me. Just said he was REALLY glad he has the next couple of days off.

Our time here in Greenville, TX is drawing to a close. Tomorrow should be our last day here, and leaving will leave us with the loss of a good place to eat.

We discovered "Soulman's BBQ" last year when we were in Greenville, mostly because it was within walking distance of the hotel we are staying in. While I'm not a big BBQ lover, the wife is, and in spite of it being like a chain fast food place, she likes their meats better than any place she has tried in Oklahoma. In addition to the good meats, their fries are made from fresh potatoes, and more than once I have ordered the Mini Corn Dogs off the kid's menu. That includes 6 small corn dogs, one side, and a small drink.

We have some business that needs to be tended to in Broken Arrow tomorrow, so we came over today to spend the night and get an early start.
Asked the hotel attendant where a good place was to eat that had live music and decent food.
Mostly locals here this evening but they do get some bigger names on occasion.
Stage indoors and another outdoors with both playing at the same time occasionally.
It was 90* when getting there, but the overhead shade with a misting system make it comfortable.

We saw one of these on the way in. Huge back tire. First time to see one. We see lots of the sling shots on the roads, but this was different.

I had my tonsils taken out in Greenville as a kid, we lived several places close to there while I was growing up.

The pizza comment reminds me of the time my wife and I got invited to a crawfish boil, and she brought pizza to eat

This is kind of random, and y’all may already know this. If someone texts you a “picture” of a USPS receipt with a tracking number on it, you can “touch” the number, and it will take you to the USPS tracking page and show your tracking info. I’ve spent years writing down numbers and typing them in to track a shipment.
My mind is blown.
