East of Canon City, CO is a road that takes one up through Phantom Canyon Road to Victor, CO. Phantom Canyon Road was put where there used to be a rail line going to the mines in Victor. I've had the pleasure of traveling through the area about 3 or 4 times.



While not important for this picture, once one gets to Victor, they can drive on over to Cripple Creek and along the south side of CC, look for a road called Shelf Road. Both are very scenic, and one can generally see wildlife along the way. That road from Cripple Creek will take one back towards Canon City.

Use to be part of my old 'stomping grounds' when I lived in Manitou Springs/Woodland Park back in the late '90 early 2000's. Still miss that area . . . a lot!

My daughter in law being given a baby shower this afternoon, and I was told a few minutes ago that I’m going. At this stage in my life, I don’t do many things that I don’t want to, but I strongly suspect that if I fight this the chances of me seeing my wife naked will be greatly reduced.
Guess who’s going to a baby shower against his will…THIS GUY…

Truth is they don't even bother with me -- once they learned I was a paralegal for 25-30 years and I'm married to a JBT they have me ESCORTED OUT ...

I have been called to jury duty twice, once county, and once federal!! I was amazed that some people lied through their teeth to try and get on a jury? All I had to do to not be seated on a county jury is be honest! The federal jury was different, they didn't ask me anything, just picked jurors at random. I was seated on the first case, that lasted about a week, drug dealers, and after that was over we were released from obligation. I think that was a three month obligation, you had to call in once a week to see if they wanted you to show up every day that week? I talked to one person that was called for a federal grand jury, and i think they said they had a one or two year obligation!! OUCH!!

I was notified for jury duty only once in my life, which quickly went away when my affiliation with law enforcement became known. Works for me

Expressing strong opinions accomplishes the same goal.

Or……you could use seeing your wife naked now as motivation to go and then flip the script. That of course would likely result in not seeing your wife naked for a solid week.

I'm still obligated to county till January first. Called up in September, case settled out of court. Called up again for October 30th, found out 3 hrs before due to report to court that it was settled out of court. Wouldn't have known but wife asked me to mail a letter and I decided to stick it in mailbox for postman. Recieved a letter apparently late Saturday after already checking mail not to report Monday at 9am.

Good morning gang,
Wife and I are stuck at the Denver airport. We’re on the plane sitting on the tarmac with two toilets that are not working. We are having to wait for parts and they have to have at least one working before we can takeoff. Come on guys, get your sh/t together.
