Son, DIL and three grandkids showed up today. Kids are staying with us, so we went to look at Christmas lights tonight.
Katz Steakhouse in Lamont Ok tomorrow evening and back to our place for gift giving. They are heading back toward Tx on Monday and have Christmas plans every night with different families. Monday, stopping in OKC to have Christmas with my sister that lives there, but we have the grandkids for three nights anyway.

Been raining here most of the day. I got out and finished up my Christmas shopping and then came back to the lake house. Wife and I spent a couple of hours making White Russian pudding shots for all of neighbors. We packaged them up and they are in the freezer. We will go around and drop them off Sunday.
My wife went to the Casino afterwards and I ran into town to my LGS and range. I ran a couple hundred rounds through my edc 43X and my G19.5RMR and 100 rounds though my MCK running the G17.4. It was good to get back to shooting after a few months of dealing with family problems.

Well?!? I just looked in the Deer Pics/Chat/Excuses thread and didn’t see any hunt results or glamour shots. Are we to assume you were just a “watcher” and not a “shooter”?!?
Alaskan cruise and land tour in 2005. Wife's oldest sister wanted to cruise to Alaska and her husband (who thought he wouldn't live past 65) said that he wanted to be able to see her get to see Alaska. So, they invited the wife and I and a cousin and his wife to make a family affair of it. We went into some debt to do it, but we figured that this would probably be our only chance of going and being with family would make it better.
Second day (and first whole day) of the cruise, wife's sister asked me to get her some sunset shots while at sea. I took a LOT of sunset shots.
I have another one that came as a complete surprise to me, but because it is "kind of" a story with more than one picture, I'll try to remember to do it tomorrow.
