We are camping out at the Omni Hotel in OKC. We had to bring well water samples to DEQ, go to Kohls, (I stayed in the parking lot), and go to the RV dealership that is repairing some damage caused by a mouse that ate wiring all over the unit. The soy based insulation they use on wiring now is a meal for rodents.
Ate an incredibly tender steak at the hotels steak and chop house before retiring for the evening and checking into OSA.
Our SUV is 11 years old and needs replacing. We are going to test drive some different vehicles tomorrow morning and then take my sister who is legally blind and on the max oxygen to find a manual recliner. She has one of those electric models that had her trapped in it for a couple of hours during the last storm when power went out. We checked out a wheel chair from hospice in Ponca to get her around. We keep trying to get her to move back to Ponca so we can take care of her but she won’t have any part of it.
Her decision.

My wife likes plants and buys a mum every year to support her school ag program, and the last few years she convinced herself she’s got duds because they haven’t bloomed. This year’s has done great, and she’s been trying to attribute it to getting a better quality mum. I normally let her do her deal and don’t get involved in her “projects”, but I’ve secretly been watering her mum. Should I tell her or just let her think she’s got a green thumb all of a sudden?!?🤣

Here, but occasionally There.
This one is going to be "out there" as far as subjects are concerned. Back in December of 2020, there was a conjunction of the planets Jupiter and Saturn. So I went out one night with my camera and Nikkor 200-500mm lens to see if I could get anything.

After taking the picture and looking on the computer, it didn't appear to be so appealing to me, but I still shared it with the folks in our church small group. One of them commented that he was pretty impressed because he could even see some of Jupiter's moons. So, I had to go take a closer look.

Since these photos are embedded in the forum comments, one can click on the image and be taken to my Smugmug site where one can then click on the image there and see a "zoomed in" shot of the planets.

Doing some catching up on here, we had a great youth hunt this weekend with Unlimited Outdoor Adventures. Hosted 15 hunters, who killed a total of 21 deer. 6 hunters tagged out, and all told they took 8 bucks and 13 does. A good time as always, even if my back and feet were feeling it this morning!

We spent the Weekend at the Omni in OKC for a couple of reasons. Birthday on Saturday and visits to Costco, some great restaurant visits, and to assist my sister that has become legally blind to make adjustments to her home while getting laundry done, cleaning, and stocking her fridge with ready to eat meals from Costco, portioned out for daily dining.
She refuses to move back home to Ponca even with the offer of a free home to live in where we can be closer for more help.
Yes, we travel a lot, but we have people that would be there for help without pay, that we wouldn't accept unless we paid them. She will come home eventually though. Her grave site is next to mine. LOL! I keep reminding her of that. Our parents got everything in order way back in the day to eventually get her home. :D
