We killed 26 tonight over mojo decoys.
Buddy grabbed a different shotgun from the safe and forgot that his extra full turkey choke was in it.
He made up for it though. He was knocking them dead at 40+ yards. So far out that I didn't even raise my 16 ga.
Lots of bird dogs with us tonight.

Spent about 5 hours out today at Lex WMA. Miserable numbers. Ended up with 3 during the last hour i was out...2 coming on a double, which was cool. I think i saw more dove sitting on powerlines driving home than out flying at the three fields field i set up on.

got 13 opening day morning. 1 in the evening. there were not that many birds where we were at.

Just back today from a 3 day hunt around Texola. It was long drive but it was worth it. Had 5 guns and we all limited every day. A couple of observations, MOJO electric decoys work, and next time I will bring some kind of extension pole for getting them out of the pond. All doves were small no collard ones.
