Problem this year is there are no processors in North Central Ok this year. I was told today that they are processing beef and so far behind that if you want one butchered, they are up to late November on the waiting lists. Zero hunters feeding the hungry processors in this area which is sad.

i wonder how many processors are aware of the program, and if any would be interested in the program if they were aware of it...

Good to see this. Last time I looked, only a couple hunters had submitted their information. Personally I hope this idea can grow but also become a little more secretive. I really not a fan of having my name, email and phone number listed for everybody with access to the internet.

The wife will not let me accept "wild pork" Her daughter gave us some just as a stomach virus hit a few years back and she is convinced the pork caused it. Truthfully that was one of the sickest I have even been. We were both running at both ends and thanking God we had to restrooms. Had to have Arbys plain roast beef, 7Up and Ruffles brought over by the daughter.

Now a member gave us some smoked pork that we both loved and she never asked if it was wild or farm raised, and I was not going to spoil it. That was some fine eating.
