There are better coaches who would take the job, but nobody who'll stick like Gundy has. Like him or not, the dude is loyal to his school, but in this day and age, you can't expect that of someone who's not from there.
It all depends on which of Sybil Pete's personalities show up. If it's the team that played OU in Stillwater, they have a pretty decent chance (though I wouldn't call it a lock, as I don't expect the Shorthorns to make as many unforced errors as OU did, and Stutsman's absence was a key factor). If it's the team that got curb-stomped by UCF, it's gonna be a super ugly game.
Personally, I'm hoping the Pokes beat the hell out of Texas.
