Totally agree. With Ohio St. beating Mich. Looks to me that if Bama beats Georgia and OU beats Texas, that should move OU into the top 4

He's not playing with the SEC is why.Murray is the first quarterback in college football history to average 300+passing yds. and 60+ rushing yds. per game for the regular season . How can he not be voted the Heisman is what I want them to explain to me if he doesn't win.
We've always had to overcome the east coast bias but the stats I stated are undeniable. It is after all an award for what is done in the regular season not what is accomplished in a poorly conceived championship playoff. He's not playing with the SEC is why.

One of Alabama’s coaches was seen with Lincoln at a restaurant recentlyIf OU only had a mediocre defense they'd be playing for a NC. How many red zone stops have they had this year? Two? Yes it's two, I looked it up.
OU is ranked #128 in red zone defense. Opponents have scored 95.3% of the time when in the red zone and the only team worse is Kent State. Freaking Tulsa is ranked #50! Incidentally, OSU is tied with 2 others at #12. Can we hire Tulsa's defense? Because if we had it, we be in the playoffs for sure.
So I agree with you, If we had a good defense, OU would spank Alabama like a red headed step child and Kyler would be guaranteed the Heisman.

What you lost was the sarcasm in my post. I guess I'll have to hashtag it for you next time.Oklahoma is in the top 5 for number of Heismans awarded and we've had 3 winners in the last 15 years...out of how many schools? Only Notre Dame and Ohio State have more, neither of which are SEC schools.
And surprising, Alabama has never had a quarterback win a Heisman Trophy. What you lost was the sarcasm in my post. I guess I'll have to hashtag it for you next time.
If you followed college football, you would know that the SEC is the darling of the sports media. Nobody is better on offense or defense than the SEC. The SEC is the God of college football. Nobody has better quarterbacks than the SEC, nobody has better defense than SEC.
