Paying to Hang Christmas lights

We don't put up lights or Christmas tree. What's the point.

I pay $150 to have them put up and $150 to have them taken down. $12 a pay period in an envelope and I have the money.
Pros:
- they look great
- I didn't have to get on the roof
- I didn't have to get on a ladder
- I did fall off of roof or ladder
- they look great

Some newer houses have crazy pitched roofs that are not fun to walk on. Older houses had more gradual pitch roofs that any DIYer could go up and walk on without worrying about sliding off.

Houses built in the 20's and 30's have some crazy pitched roofs. Ours is a 10:12 and I won't get on it. Some of those in the 1920's have some pitches steeper than 12:12

Living further north where there are more hours of darkness really made me appreciate lights.

Will you be able to keep air in the inflatables?

Yes they self inflate. A little blower motor in each inflates them. No crazy old Polock out there huffen an puffin.

This is what I use to do. The "tree" is made from EMT, bailing wire and LED lights. Looks great in person. This year will be replaced with a inflatable since I am not allowed on a ladder. Anyone wants it I will trade for a box of 223 / 5.56.
