Thanks! Yeah, it's mine. It's a '63 BMW that I built from a few boxes of parts. It's what's known in the Beemer world as a "Slash 2 conversion" meaning that it is a post- 1970 engine in a pre- 1970 frame. This is done for lots of reasons, primarily since the post '70 engines had 12v electrics, and (gasp!) and oil filter. I still have the original block for it so it could be restored to original but it is so much more fun with this motor in it. I have other bikes but this one has become my main ride. In case anyone is wondering, the Earles fork is for sidecar use. It has sidecar mounts on it from the factory.

I haven't done a highway wheelie in a very long time. I usually just stick to private roads or parking lots nowadays.
Never had a close call while killing the streets, but just a normal ride, seems like everyone just wants to pull out in front of you.

Never had my throttle hang up out of any of my bikes. You gotta keep things maintained and lubed.

So you're saying all sportbike riders are smart asses, and deserve to crash? Nice, real nice... I think you've got the world's dumbest label on the wrong person or group of people
