These idiots doing wheelies on the highway are the idiots I'm least worried about....
Its not the people doin the wheelies Im worried about either, it the young couple on a Sunday drive smashin into their asphalt eatin axxes.
Someone advertized a good show, Im not against wheelies ..per say.. just not on a highway.

Those damn tailgaters! I wish I could buy an old Cadillac and just go around slamming my brakes on, and ramming people who were tailgating motorcycles. I have had road rage and "talked" to people who were tailgating me on my bike - I know its not wise. What gets me, the cops don't care here and we have one or two that are the worse at it. Some might think they are trying to watch reactions of people, but its plain dangerous what I seen. On another note, sure wish I could make it to OKC to see the bikes today!

I've picked up many broken and bleeding bikers off the roadways. It never fails when you walk up to them lying on the ground and see them writhing in pain and ask how they are or where does it hurt the most?

Their reply is ALWAYS, "hows the bike?"

Dunno why but that's usually been my first concern. Maybe it's pride of ownership oct something.

Most sport bike riders are younger kids, wonder why they want to do tricks???

Your right most sport bike riders are younger kids, however they are on a much better machine than the older crowd which consists of cruisers/Harley's etc. Sport bikes handle a million times better than cruisers. They are lighter, more agile, better suspension, better brakes, more power, more torque, etc. I think cruisers can be just as dangerous if not more at times then sport bikes for the simple fact that most guys on cruisers have never rode before and don't belong on a bike. They sometimes just went out and bought one because their buddy has one and then they go on a poker run once a year and dress up in all their Harley gear from head to toe, throws the old lady on the back goes down to the local Hooters on bike night, drinks beer, then drives home drunk. That can be just as dangerous and is more common then most realize. Go watch how many people on cruisers/Harley's go to a bike night, drink and then ride home and the cops could care less. Sometimes they don't make it out of the parking lot without laying their 700lb bike over, then they wave a buddy over to help them pick their bike up. I'm not saying that's all cruiser riders just like not all sport bike riders are douche bags either. There are a lot of good riders that started on one when they were younger and have moved over to the other.

They do the tricks on sport bikes for one because they are young and stupid and think nothing bad will happen to them. Another reason they do the tricks is because the power, torque and weight is ready available whenever they want it. It's really hard not to wheelie when your on the throttle of a sport bike. However there are not to many guys out there that can wheelie a 700lb Harley or would even want to try because they are too totally different animals.

Most out grow the sport bike wheelie stage in their life once they have more to live for like a wife, kids, house, job, etc. There are more important things in their life then trying to feel cool from a wheelie or going fast. Instead of a wheelie impressing them what impresses them is a house paid off, additional lake house, boat, successful career, wife and kids taken care of...the list goes on. In my experience and from friends and family, the ones that don't outgrow that stage are either ones that are never really going to grow out of that stage for one reason or another or are stuck in a rut.
