One thing I have noticed, the ones on the crotch rocket will have their protective gear on most of the time. They pull up next to me with helmets, gloves, protective jackets and the whole nine yards while I just have shorts and a cut-off t-shirt on. They look a lot smarter than me at the red light, LOL

I've picked up many broken and bleeding bikers off the roadways. It never fails when you walk up to them lying on the ground and see them writhing in pain and ask how they are or where does it hurt the most?

Their reply is ALWAYS, "hows the bike?"

I had an unfortunate run-in with a semi a while back (he pulled over on me), and I ended up having to dump the bike and wound up under the trailer with the truck still moving. Thankfully, it was at relatively slow speeds. After I crawled out from under the truck, the first thing I did was look at how bad the bike was. LOL

"Most sport bike riders are younger kids"

Not all of em, I've been riding sport bikes for a long time and I'm 38. Don't plan on switching to something tamer anytime soon. :-P

Oh yeah, comment on the original subject. Nothing wrong with wheelies, if you can ride one good for you, just keep it somewhere safe. Doing it on the highway is bad news not only for the rider, but for those around you if you end up dumping it and cause a mom and her kids to crash as a result.

Wow! Are they running Nitros nowadays? Those bikes are plenty fast without it. I had a guy do a backflip on a bike next to us at a red light. I don't think he ever rode a crotch rocket and when he hit 2nd, the bike came out from under him; man, was he embarrassed!
