Nice............do you need a .350 Rem Mag cartridge for your collection? Haven't shot mine in a few years, got lots of ammo.

I shoot the 357 mag, 38spl and I also shoot the 357 herrett. I love the Herrett, it is very close to your 35 rem in ballistics. I would have gone for it, but making the Herrett brass from 30-30 is just too easy.

From what I see around here some of the 35's are under appreciated. I've had nothing but good luck with my 35 Rem.
I picked the Whelen up from a forum member who also post on Greybeards and haven't shot it much yet.
But from what he's told me it is a go getter. I'm just going thru a phase of larger/older calibers right now.
The Max is something I've wanted for years and have just drug my boots on.

Have you ever used .375 Winchester brass to form .357 Herrett cases? I am getting set up to try it. Just a few minutes ago I sent an order to Ch4d.com for a Dillon Trim die for my rapid trim. I am simply going to run the .375 brass into the rapid trim and that should be it.

That should even have the shoulder in the right place too.

No, I shoot the 375 win so I hate to mutilate the brass for it. I can make 375 win brass from 30-30, but the necks are a little thin. I much prefer to use the actual 375 brass for itself. I machined some expander rods to expand the case mouth up to 375 from 30-30, I do it in two steps. Making the herret brass from 30-30 is way easy for me with the same expanders.
