PIX of S&W Model 57, .41 mag

Thought I'd post some pix of my S&W model 57, .41 mag. with a 4" barrel. I've had it for about 1 1/2 yr now and hate to shoot it because it's so good look'in, well, at least to me it is.

The previous sowner took these great shots. Based upon these, I bought the handgun.

Well . . . now wadaya think?

Ya know I can't remember. I'm at the office right now. I'll have to check it out when I get home tonight.

What does the "S" represent or mean, that is if it does have a prefix of "S"?

if its an S prefix that means its older and worth a little more than any other serial prefix, the first few years of production was S prefix

that is a slick pistola. I remember in the mid 80's when I just found out about the .41, always wanted a blackhawk in it. .41 mag is a great all around caliber.
