In my neighborhood most homes have 3 car garages but cannot get one car in there because it’s filled with crap.
Like you I park in the garage.
In the slum I live in we have two car garages. So I had to fill mine with a workshop and reloading gear.

Technically if I needed, I built everything on wheels so that within about 3 minutes frantic or 6 minutes easy I could move everything to the side to allow the wife to park her car inside. But I'd rather just pay her insurance deductible.

We keep two vehicles in the garage after building a shop to house the reloading setup and moving everything but one shelf down the side for storage.
Well, the 18’ X 30’ shop was too full and too short for a truck. The 7’ tall opening too low for the F-250 with a 3” lift. Hmmmm, what to do?
Build another shop! 30’X 40’ on this one with a 10’ X 12’ garage door. Truck fits nicely now so we have everything inside.
