even in bad weather I wear the HI Gloss hell.....we dont get BDU uniforms....
I love my nylon gear. Our FOP contract allows us to wear 5.11's and a polo with either or duty belt 
80% of my stuff I purchased used. I see no real need to buy new when you can get great condition gear at a fraction of the cost. If you're looking for stuff now, I would go to any of the above listed in OKC.
