Here is our Rockwood HW256. For a popup it has all, including a toilet, shower, heated mattresses and more.

Wow! How did I miss this thread? All except for a few years in the Army and when I couldn't afford it otherwise, we've camped ever since I was a little tyke. (Even went bear hunting with a rubber knife when I was a real youngster. Had to get the Rangers and all the other campers to look for me.)

Started out in tents and then graduated to a "pop-over" camper where the box split diagonally for the top of the box to serve as a floor and the bottom was the bed and cook-stove area. A canvas "topper' was then raised in some fashion to form the upper part of the camper.

Later went to a 16' travel trailer, then a 21'. Within the last 10 years, we've had a 26' travel trailer and a 26' fifth wheel. Now, we have sold our "stix 'n' brix" (that's RV'er talk for a house) and live full time in a luxury fifth wheel made by DRV Suites that is 38.5' long and 102" wide. It is pulled with a Ford F450 and when we finally get to retire, we will travel the country checking out all the state and national parks and any other attractions that gets our attention.

Living the "Hard Life" with our two MinPins to help me out.

Here's my RV, though it's not actually a vehicle:

That's actually the guest "RV" and there's another the same size with different layout next to it.

Here's a few shots of the inside. These are bit old and I think there's another couch now:

I will have to take new pics. I bought a new RV since my original post which you can no longer see. I now have a 2012 Heartland North Country Trail Runner 27FQBS.....We bought it new in 2011. Guess I'm slacking a bit.

Here are a couple generic internet pics of what I have....

Here is our 2004 19' Keystone Springdale. We just bought a new 3/4 ton truck so hopefully we can upgrade our trailer soon. This 19' trailer was about all the Tahoe could handle.

OK. I've noticed the extra door on the back. Is this a toy-hauler by any chance? Keystone's website doesn't even show Outback fifth wheels any more, so I can't check there to see the floor plan.

It leads to the bunkhouse room in back. It's a 2005 Keystone Outback Sydney 29FBHS. The new ones are just call Sydney. For some reason when you look for 2005 they don't show a floor plan for this model, but they do for a 2004, which is the same plan.

Thanks for showing that. I'll have to go see if the Sydney's have bunks still. I am on an RV forum a lot and a number of folks are looking for fifth wheels with bunk beds.

It looks like your rear step raises pretty good. We had a 26' travel trailer and I managed to go across an uneven area as I turned off of a highway onto a side road. The rear step caught on the edge of the pavement and really bent the steps because the wheels went over that uneven area and down a slope. After that, I never used that turnoff again, even with a fifth wheel. It had always been fine with a 16' or 21' trailer before.
