I give it up to Maddskillz! He posted his online and I loved it - then a week later I went deer hunting for the first time and used my aunts 336 and then I was sold. Asked for one for Christmas - didn't get it - so I bought it the next week. Great gun!! I figured if I needed something with my oommpphh, I could borrow my dad's .270.

Nice rifle, give us a little more info

Bulbboy, I have never had a lever gun, and always wanted one.
The new Hornady ammo has brought my interest level up a lot...a whole lot.

I had .460 in my hands at Sports World in T-town, and passed, just because the round was new and I hadn't done my research. The latest offering in .308 is probably a must-have. We'll see what happens in the future. What cal is yours?

My first choice this year is going to be the WW2 Arisaka sporty re-chambered in .300 Savage.
Then I'm not sure what will come out of the safe for the next one. Maybe the R-15?
