I do not buy the social security ban, without due process. My buddy had to go to court to have a judge declare him disabled. If a person goes to court to get the maximum amount of disability, they are saying they are not capable of taking care of themselves in front of a judge.

I'm not sure what you are not buying, but the issue is that the VA and SS admin have used SIMPLY ALLOWING SOMEONE ELSE TO ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNT OR ACT ON YOUR BEHALF IN CASE OF EMERGENCY as a basis for putting people on the NO GUNS LIST. A friend was awarded 100% disability based on severe diabetes preventing him from working, but since he refused to list an alternate to access his account, he was NOT put on the NO GUNS list. The policy is arbitrary and capricious, and not subject to due process. If you put your wife on the list to access your account, that has been used to strip you of 2A rights, without a hearing.

Freddie, at 18 lost his legs do to a crane accident years ago and and has worked his ass off all his life roofing, Now he has worn himself out and cant work any more although he would if he could. So now your telling me its ok to take his second amendment rights away because of his disability.

My grandfather was a farmer in Oklahoma, he always told me that there is always a consequence for taking a government program. I feel bad for your friend, but everyone thinks that their friend in the except to the norm, when in reality they are the norm.

wouldn't it be easier to just get rid of the government programs? That is the problem with socialism, you do not have rights. Social Security is the biggest socialistic program we have. Therefore, the logical outcome is it can always take your rights away.
