Price for a new S&W 686 plus

Need some input on what is a good price for a S&W 686 plus 4 in? I found one and asking price is $760.00. Seller states that he is only owner and never been fired. Any input would be very helpful

you can pick up a circa 70's,80's or even mid 90' -1,-2,-3,-4 or -5 686 for $600-700 and IMHO get a better gun, PLUS no lock

I had a 686 I let go for $500. Albeit an LE trade in.

Kings in Cushing had Talo 5" 686's in the $700 range last time I was in.

Think I paid $700 something at H&H for a 3-inch Talo 686 plus last year. They go higher on GB.

That's just $80 more than what I paid for a new one with a 5" barrel 7 or 8 years ago.

Appears to be a very good deal especially if it really has never been fired. The 686 is one heck of a fine revolver.
