been looking at buying a chronograph and was reading the reviews and all that. anyway i ran across this thread at brian enos on making your own bluetooth cable.

and this one for just being able to connect a usb cable to the pc.

i had priced out the parts and you can build a cable for 15 bucks or buy a cable on amazon for 18
http://www.amazon.com/USB-3-3v-Head...1407221103&sr=8-3&keywords=ttl+cable+to+3.5mm

you may have to cut the cable and add a 10k ohm resister or reverse the tip and ring thought someone could use this info.

I'm curious which direction you go... I've been looking for something that would connect directly to my iPad via cable or bluetooth that would sync with a crono and thus display readings.. Please reply with what you do..

Thanks

bluetooth, IMHO, is the only way to go unless you dont have built in bluetooth. it is more expensive but is the most flexible. ill probably build them both since it would be so cheap
