First of all, i believe that it is possible for the select few, the elite, to take our wealth and basically enslave us by controlling our access to freedom. This could happen in the USA. How about our current president or a future president declaring that he will be president for life. Don't laugh.
I was watching a battle scene from Braveheart the other day. The common guys did not have 1) heavy horses - which were battle tanks of the day, 2) nor did they have armor. They were very scared of the 'heavy horsemen' as there was no way to win that battle.
Basically, simply by the oppressors having these weapons and the common guy NOT having these weapons, the oppressors were able to rob, steal, rape, and exact a heavy taxes upon the common guy. AND HE could do nothing.
It bothers me when reading the editorials of the common men and women, clergy, congressmen, housewives, etc. who say, gun owners are part of the problem and are just as guilty as the killers because we desire to save our 2nd amendment rights.
Once the oppressors pass the law that we can't have the tools to protect ourselves, our freedom is gone. Here come the taxes and life without representation. They will do what they want as they have done for centuries.
