There isn't much more to tell. I've got a boring bar for it and assorted end mills. I've got a 11 x 27 lathe on order from Precision Matthews also. Small machines are hard to get right now. They didn't know when it would be in.Yes. Do tell more.

If at first you don't succeed then try, try again.....You'll get where your wanting to go....nice 1st stepTried to melt some ammo brass in there tonight. 30 psi of propane. I got the brass to sag, but not melt.
Need to study some more metallurgy.
I’m making a desk for my girlfriend, and the decorative panels I’m putting in the legs on each end are curly maple, resawed from the same piece of lumber. I applied half a dozen finishes to samples of the maple, and my gf liked the looks of pure dark tung oil mixed 50% with citrus solvent. Here are the two panels, bookended. Finished panel on the left, untreated on the right:
