Sorry, that wasn't meant to put you on the spot. There's lots of shapes and styles of ulu (ulu, ului, uluis, ulus, ???). Just an idea of something different for you to make.

:sorry4:
No sir. I didn’t take it that way at all. I’ll be glad to try the design. I’m sorry. I guess I sounded rude. Very sorry. It’ll be fall break before I can get out in the shop and dedicate to a project. If I can get a decent one made I’ll message you and see if you like it. Sorry for the mixed message.

Per my wife’s request, I turned an old washing machine tub into a patio fire pit. Had an old hub and some 4” pipe lying around that I used for a base so it won’t blow, or get knocked over.

Man...... :(

That stainless tub would be the start of a chicken plucker if I had it!

I helped my buddy make this one.
I did the machine work!

By the way, thats me holding the chicken!

Thats really nice! Looks spectacular in use!

But, man, isnt it a tad bit warm for a fire?

🥵
It is, but had to try it out. And as big and bright as that looks, the fire was just made with whatever pencil size sticks I gathered up lying around the yard. No more than 3 good handfuls of sticks.

The extended drive for the shop pad needed gates so I went ahead and replaced all the frontage fence too. The old was stained an ugly red color and was not the style that I cared for. Other side of the house needed a wider gate so I built a 68” wide one there.

Posts are 1/4” 4x4 buried about 44” with 400# of concrete each. Hopefully I can get the operators mounted this week sometime even though power might be a while
