Dam nice work!My little brother and a friend of his bought them a bigger horse hauling rig. Within a week his buddy was backing up to hook truck to trailer and popped the clutch at a bad time which slammed the kingpin into the fifth wheel way too hard leading to a torn up jack on the trailer. This trailer doesn’t have air brakes to help absorb the shock and the way this jack was affixed to the aluminum skin sod the trailer it was meant to take horizontal force. So they got it hooked up with the aid of a forklift and came to my shop. I fabbed up a steel framed “L-bracket” that bolts to the floor joists and aluminum square tubing running vertical on the front of trailer. Then welded a vertical channel iron on the bracket for the jack to bolt to. He also wanted a gooseneck ball on the bed for another towing option so we made that happen too. Trailer is an 8 horse with tons of tack rooms, dressing rooms and storage. Truck I think he said is an 04 Freightliner 120 with a Detroit 60 series and 13 speed. Interior has 6 air ride seats and a twin bed.
