I'm not exactly making anything with it yet, but I picked up an X-Carve CNC router setup so I can learn to use it and see what sort of useless crap I can make with it in the future. So far, I've just been making mistakes. Partly because of the steep learning curve for Fusion 360.

I didn’t make it but my daughter did. I had this old skull at my cabin so she painted it for me.

She is in nursing school and painting is one of her stress relieving activities. It amazes me that she did all of this freehand.

If any of you have any old skulls you’d want to part with, let me know. Or if you want to commission her to paint one for you, she is always looking for ways to make a little extra cash.

I recently went looking for a new belt and told the sales lady that I am a bit of a belt snob because almost all factory belts seem thin and weak to me. I was spoiled because my brother made hand tooled western belts with buck stitching and all, but he passed and I haven’t had a really good looking, well made belt since. Not many people do that anymore.
