Ranges near Mcalester/Eufala area?

James Collins is a rifle range but can shoot skeet and pistols there.

The skeet range is just north of the prison. If you take the road north towards Tannehill (don't remember the street name), when it curves back west at the inmate cemetary, turn north on next county road. Can't remember how far up it is, I only used the rifle/pistol range, but Allan at All Pawn could give better directions. And the rifle range is pretty decent.

Except when the idiots show up. I've chased off some strange folks from there! Mostly ones that loose, or never had any, common sense to begin with. Yes I am a member there.

I've had mostly good luck there. Most of the time I go its pretty tolerable. I try to avoid it on the weekends though.

Don't get me wrong, usually my son and I have a great time, there are times when you wonder how some folks have lived as long as they have. Most of those I've chased off were non-members.
