When Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper said, “It’s now time we refocus again on what unites Coloradans - creating jobs, educating our children, creating a healthier state - and on finding ways to keep Colorado moving forward”, didn't he really mean, "It’s now time we refocus again on what changes Coloradans into lib socialists - creating union jobs, indoctrinating our children to the lib agendas, creating a socialist state - and on finding ways to keep Colorado moving "Forward" to socialist liberalism?

When I started reading this AP/Washington Post article, I knew upfront that it would probably have some lib leftwing MSM leaning to it--------------it did disappoint me.:rollingla:rollingla

2 Colorado Democratic lawmakers ousted in gun control recalls promoted by activists, NRA
By Associated Press,

..."Democrats will still maintain control of the state Legislature and the laws are expected to remain in place.
“The loss of this senate seat is purely symbolic,” Morse said."...

Not too bad though. Bloomers came out looking like a sore loser.

It comes as no surprise, that while the mass media covered Colorado extensively when they passed these laws, recalling the two senators was barely mentioned.

I was thinking the same thing. I check the Chrome (Google) 'news' tab every morning and a couple times a day if I think about it. On the day of the vote and the days following there was not one mention or reference that the recall passed.

Of course. That is the way it is when something positive happens. The media will only report on negative things. Especially when it involved firearms and the 2A. Just makes me sick.

They also fail to mention that the money Bloomberg spends is his own, while the NRA represents several million contributors.

That's a good point. It' my understanding that 'their' side, the anti-Constitution side, with the help of Bloomberg spent three times more than 'our' side on the recall, and still it wasn't enough to convince a majority. My favorite part of that is the thought that Bloomberg's money will trickle down into the hands of people who will spend his money on guns and ammo.

What I've seen is more like 6 times. 3.5 million total on the recall advertising, only about a half-million of which was by the recall side, 3 mil by the antis.

I love how the woman who got recalled was on CNN blaming "voter suppression" because most Coloradans vote by mail... not sure how that would work against one side more than the other, but she was also whining that they didn't know what the "rules of the game were" either... whatever that means? Did the recall team keep it a secret that mail-in ballots weren't allowed? Did the recall side force the election board or whomever runs the thing to not accept mail-in ballots, knowing that the majority of mail-in'ers were for the status quo?

I dunno, I just don't get it. Lotta whinin' goin' on...

While we joke about Bloomberg trying to regulate the size of drinks one can buy in NYC, I think it's very indicative of what a control freak he is.

Not only does he want to influence poitics in his city, but he's wanting people to bend to his will all across the U.S.

In the very state whre the Aurora theater killing took place, the people themselves don't see the sense in regulating law abiding citizens.
