There is a training curve with red dots. If you throw the gun up and look for the dot, it takes somewhere between slow and forever.
If you throw the gun up and look for the FRONT SIGHT as if there is no red dot, the red dot will be there.
Jus' sayin'...

Let us know what you think! It's definitely a learning curve/takes some getting used to.
Well the plan is on Tuesday to go get my OK drivers license and then go straight to the gun shop to get a Ruger Max-9. I haven't decided on the optic yet, but I'm leaning towards the Swampfox Sentinel. I figure that if I try it and decide pistol optics aren't my thing, I'm only out $200 compared to $400 if I go for something like a Holosun 507k
