Oklahoma still has Blue Laws. Just go and try and buy a car or liquor on a Sunday. And many others too, just they are not enforced anymore.

There are a few counties that can sell liquor in resturants on Sundays now.

I miss catching Horny Toads and seeing Road Runners (birds and Plymouths).

I remember eating Space Food Sticks and drinking Tang.

I remember collecting Rat Fink bubble gum cards.

Anyone ever put pennies on railroad tracks?

I really miss Mazeppa's Uncanny Film Festival, Fantastic Theater, and the Late Late Show.

My dad was a railroader. When we were kids he came home with a small length of chain they had flattened with the locomotive. It was pretty cool because the links were smashed together. I have an anvil around here made from a section of rail.

My dad let me drive a freight train once before he retired. Shhhh- don't tell anyone. ;-)

I was born in the late 40's ..... Some great B/W TV Shows back in the 50's .....

Don't try to sell it as scrap. Sometime in the late 80's when they were taking up regional rail sections, the theft was so rampant that the legislature passed a law making it illegal to sell for scrap.
