I carry a G21 at work everyday, and have another G21 and a G30 ready to go in bail-out bags in my work vehicle. But at home it's a differant story. All of my loaded "go to" guns are revolvers. I've got two 66's, a 19, a 65 and a 649 at the house/truck. Love those wheel guns!

To me they serve little purpose as they do nothing that a semi-auto doesn't do better, if not MUCH better. I can see them being used for hunting or deep CCW though.

Viable? Sure. Preferred? Not for me. I've never had much love for revolvers. I think some are cool to look at and to shoot at the range, but for all other purposes, I'll take an auto any day over a revolver.

OFF DUTY I carry the following...

Front right: Smith & Wesson J frame model 38 Airweight Bodyguard in DeSantis "Nemesis" pocket holster.

Back right: Looper Leather wallet/badge case.

Back left: Looper Leather notepad and cotton hankie.

Front left: Bianchi speed strip, Schrade Uncle Henry model 55UH folding knife and Surefire L4 "Digital Lumamax" flashlight clipped to pocket edge.
