GED the pic is a 642-1. The best way to tell is that it has the new J frame magnum cylinder stop and the lack of the internal lock. The 642-2 was the addition of the internal lock.

It used to be clear-cut.
no-dash = std load only
-1 = +P
-2 = internal lock +P

Now, the new "no internal lock" 442's are a -2
