Finally....I can add something! I have a couple simple revolvers on my great big list of WANTS and this is one of them. As of today it is mine thanks to the best ever birthday gift from my dad! He bought this new in Feb. '79. Comes with all the original parts, pieces, etc...even the receipt. I shot this bad boy when I was little and it scared the crap out of me then! Can't wait to let my son (or daughter, whichever steps up first) shoot it. My son did say "wow, that's a cowboy gun!"

I got these polished up a little. They are both 4" fixed sight 357 magnums. A TPD trade in 681 and a mid to late 90's GP-100. The GP-100 has the smaller grips on it that are similar in size to the SP-101. Both are great shooters the triggers are about even in single action. It would be hard to pick a favorite between the two. Ohh yeah there is a Kershaw Rake composite and a Mighty Pen in there too.

Very nice K-frames Davwingman. Here is a picture of my pride and joy K frame. It was my Dad's and probably has less than 100rds down her. I don't think she has heen fired double action much if any at all.
