Rise Armament or Larue Tactical trigger?

And you really need to play with good two-stage and single stage samples to determine your preference with your intended application.

Any recommendations for a place that has a good set up to play with triggers?

I’ve seen RA displays at COPS, H&H, and Brigadoon in the OKC area. Firearms Solutions in Duncan. Seems like a few others, maybe Firearms Central.

I don’t remember where I’ve seen other brands to test. I’ve seen them, but it has been too long.

I have no complaints with the RA-140 trigger I bought. I plan to pick up more for other builds.

Not familiar with Rise, but love the MBTs and with the energy and backbone that Larue puts into the 2nd
community I'll stick with the MBTs..

I like the Rise triggers, I have them in 2 rifles, hard to beat for $99 IMO (when on sale)

I dont know what it is, but those displays never seem to feel the same as the trigger in the rifle. They're always way heavier in the display.

You can usually get the RA-140 at the Tulsa gun shows from American Combat for $89. If you pay cash, they will usually include sales tax in that (in other words, $89 out the door).

That may be their regular price in their store in west Tulsa, but I don't know that for sure...

I have been a big fan of Timney 3lb triggers over the years with every rifle I've owned sporting one. Last summer a buddy bought the Rise 3.5lb RA-140 for his MSR. I installed it and got to try it at the range.
It's not a Timney, but it's light years above a standard mil-spec trigger. Liked it so well, that one is currently installed in the 9mm PCC build, and bought another to replace the trigger in the MSR I won at the Friends of the NRA Banquet earlier this summer. Great product!

I’ve got a Larue 2 stage. It’s good and I like it, but got a hankering for my next trigger to be a Rise. 3.5 lb, flat faced, single stage for the AR9 is the want. And they make them 5 miles from the house.
