Going to hold up/rob some place without a round chambered is like going to a duel with an empty gun. It would be embarrassing if he got shot while holding what is essentially an empty gun!

To me it looked like he did have one chambered but decided to rack the slide with his hand over the ejection port preventing the ejecting properly causing the double feed issue

the cashier tossed his second glove in the trash as he walked away. the whole deal did not even bother him.

I'd like to think I would have noticed the gun was out of battery, but I'm not sure my eyes would have made it past the hole on the end.

Me too, that hole would have looked the size of a bowling ball the way he was waving it around. Kid had a set on him, that is for sure.
