If any serious conservitive Republican knows whats best for them politically, they will stay away from Romney and this election cycle.

Romney is a Conservative DEMOCRAT, and no true Conservative Republican will run with him. It would be political suicide.

John Kerry would be Romneys best choice.

Romney has to get elected first or it doesn't really matter who the VP pick is.

Rubio would help Romney in Fl and Portman would help Romney in OH.
But Romney already has a slight lead in FL and is likely to carry that state anyway.
Romney is trailing slightly in OH and Portman could turn that around.

That's why I'm predicting the VP choice will be Portman.
Well, that and the fact that Romney likes Portman and he has always been at the top of the list.

Rubio is the only name on that list that makes sense. Any of the others makes him seem even more boring if thats possible

^^^^^ This.

Rubio pretty much would guarantee that Romney would carry FL and he's conservative enough to maybe attract the few hard core republicans out there that plan to sit this one out.

Ryan would be a good choice but something about him IMO turns voters off.

Pawlenty and Portman? Boring old white guys. Thune - who. Jindal - huh?

A Rubio choice would give Romney a better chance to win FL. By running with Romney, Rubio would be selling out the Tea Party backers who put him in office.

Portman could help Romney win OH, but it will depend on voter turnout for GOP.

Jindal, would be a good choice only because he could never carry a Nat'l election for Pres.

Ryan, would be a good Pres candidate, so should distance himself from this election.

Pawlenty, he is not contriversal or polarizing. He contrasts best with Romney.

Thune, doesnt have name recognition outside of those who are politically in the know.
