It ain't the first time Timmys done that. I just grin and go with it.
Ya gotta admit the "C" and the "W" keys are kinda... uh... more or less... uh... well, at least on the same keyboard.
That's right it ain't the 1st time JacFromOH..
I checked the Atwood’s in chandler today, no bueno
Okay so I got my hands on one today. I left it at the store for the next person in line. It looked fine, the fitting was good. I just didn't like the way the gun felt. The first thing I noticed the loading gate is heavy as all the reviews I have seen said. Second it was noisy, I realize a single six isn't quiet. Maybe it was the plastic grips didn't insulate the sound of the trigger spring or hammer spring but it just sounded clanky. Just holding and aiming it, the gun feels sturdy. I may get flamed but I like the way the Heritages fell better.
Another thing that was odd. I handed it to my boy and it wouldn't cock. After you have the loading gate open you have to spin the cylinder to engage it or you cant move the hammer back. It kinda binded up. I had the same issue and so did the salesman. In the end I just wasn't in love with it. I have learned over the years I like to shoot my guns. If I don't take a quick liking to it. I might as well pass or it will be up for sale quickly. I just bought a bunch of ammo and headed home to shoot what I already own.
Good reviews, think I might need one. Never bought a Heritage , but this looks to good to pass...
Ruger keeps comin' up with some goodies.
I HAVE NEVER PERSONALLY SHOT NOR HAVE I PERSONALLY OWNED A HERITAGE FIREARM. I AM ALSO NOT RECOMMENDING THEM-----JUST PASSING THIS INFO ALONG TO THOSE THAT MIGHT BE INTERESTED.
ATWOODS----JUNE 12 TO JUNE 23, 2019
In bronze, $179.99..
I bought a pair. Actually, I was at gun show. Found a good deal on a Heritage long bbl (6")? with LR and WMRF cylinders. Bought it and 30 minutes later, come across a short bbl (4 1/2") .22LR. and I made the deal.
Feel in hand was good, ok. Not target guns, but they are cheap plinkers. The .22mag shot pretty good, moa rabbit @ 20yrds.
I HATED that stupid , hammer block safety. It was constantly engaging on it's own, both guns. 6 months after purchase, i sold them.
I'll save the scratch and get a Ruger or 2. Bear Cat, Single Six, Nine, Ten, Blackhawk; I'm not picky, long as it is Ruger.
