I wanted a SR1911 but, when I couldn't find one easily, I bought another brand. I only need one range gun, and I really like the 1911 I've got, so someone else will get the one I wanted. They look to be a great pistol. Congrats!

Bought mine through the classified from makarov9, think it was the first one that showed up in OSA. It has a good home and is being well taken care of. Really nice, fit and finish are much better than one would expect out of a production gun.

I had one in my hands to buy, the first one to show up in OKC, and handed it back to the salesman. The trigger was gritty and bugged me. Yep, I know it would have smoothed out but my Kimbers weren't gritty so why should the SR1911? I've been kicking myself in the rear ever since.

My favorite gun! For me personally,it's the most accurate handgun I've ever shot. I know all 1911s are close but this is an awesome gun. A fun fact is that they made the barrel and bushing out of the same block of steel and they stay together through the proces which gives it perfect fit.
