My point exactly. They got kicked around quite throughly in Afghanistan. Maybe even more than we did.
We did to the soviets what they did to us during Vietnam. We supplied a guerilla insurgency with money and weapons. The Soviet Army won their engagements in Afghanistan just like we did in Afghanistan and in Vietnam and just like we lost a lot of aircraft to Soviet made missiles supplied to the NVA they lost a lot of aircraft to us supplied manpads .

The mujahideen didn’t kick the Soviet Army out of Afghanistan they left exactly like we did in our wars. A lack of political will to continue fighting and domestic problems .

I can't believe that some of yall still buy into this "Russia is losing" crap. Let's say the world is a kitchen. Russia would be a refrigerator and Ukraine would be a tea cup. Do I really know the ins and outs of this war? No, but I do retain a small amount of common sense.

I agree with you 100% there are multiple real reports that Ukraine is running out bodies for this conflict. The Neo Con spin machine is at full steam.

Yep... I don't think Ukraine can win without a LOT of western help. Most likely the kind of help the west won't be willing to provide...boots on the ground.
I think if that were to happen the chances of the Russians using canned sunshine would greatly increase . That sort of action would be way close to their front door for Putin to be ok with it .

By the same token, I've been hearing that the Russians have pretty much lost all their experienced warriors and are down to conscripts and now North Korean soldiers. And, I'd bet dollars to donuts that neither of those last two sources are really enthused about where they are and what is happening to them.

When you say "those two sources", I'm forced to assume that you mean the two news sources from which you received this information.
