Picked up another one off a fellow OSA member this past week. I already had a Pre-18 and a 34 but now a Model 51 (22 Mag) is joining the ranks.

Sadly, however, the Model 34 will be going to live with my brother. Can't keep 'em all!

Here's my 18-4. Hands down my favorite pistol that I own and I will never ever ever sell it.

Yeah I really like my 18 too. I wrestled with what to do with them for awhile (did I really need two S&Ws in 22LR?) and the 18 just worked for me better. Tell ya what, though: That 51 is nice!!! I took it out this morning and had a great time with it. The 22 Mag in a J frame is good fun.

Keep an eye out for a 51 (J frame) or a 48 (K frame). There may be some other models but that's the only two I can think of at the moment. Problem, is they don't come along too often.

Another problem is that 22 Mag is damn near the cost of 9mm! Sure is fun though.

I'm with you guys here,,,
My Model 15/Model 18 pair are my all time favorite handguns.

My Model 36/Model 34 pair are sweet as well.

Someday I will obtain a Model 14/Model 17 pair,,,
Then all will be right with the world.

I'd never part with my 617. Definitely my favorite gun.
