I just round metal bars and had no problems moving it around. Loaded it in the back of a flatbead trailor and move it that way.

As Buzz' mentioned use golf balls. Golf balls work great on carpet. They don't really always roll but they are so hard and slick the safe will just slide over them real easy. Almost too easy. I have two 5 gallon buckets of them so I just throw 40-50 of themin the room and down the hallway to the wood floors. I would advise against the golf balls on wood floors if they are nice and the heavy weight of the safe may make the balls put long dents in the floor as it rolls to the door.

Here is my suggestion. Go to the United Rentals in Tulsa on 51st St just south of the Creek Turnpike and rent a 12' stake bed truck with a narrow (if they have one) pallet jack. A regular size will work depending on your door widths. The Stakebed trucks will have a TommyLift at the rear of the truck and holds 2500+ pounds. Used the pallet jack to lift it, move it onto the Tommy Lift and then strap it down. Drive to your destination and do it in reverse. Shouldn't cost you more than $120 for the day and is simple as could be.

BTW, you bought a big heavy safe that probably cost $1500 to keep very valuable things in it. It is worth the money to rent this stuff and make it easy on yourself. Just my opinion. Good luck and be carful.
