Salt mine in Hutchinson, KS

I’ve been twice. Kids loved it. Teenagers. Stop and watch the videos. Lots to learn. The tram ride is fascinating to see all the trash still left down there. I’d recommend it. Not a long drive from OKC.

Used to deliver to the Kansas City, Mo. Caves in an 18 Wheeler, pretty intimidating driving thru those tunnels.
There is a whole Metropolis under ground there, used for storage of dry goods mostly. Hunt or Heinz owns the biggest part of it I do believe.

Been through that area dozens of times, but have never gone to the mine. Anyone been? Reviews seem pretty good. 68⁰ in the mine sounds pretty good on a 94⁰ weekend.
