Anyone work in or with SCADA? It seems like a niche with not many people in the industry and I am just trying to make some contacts in the same line of work I am in.

What type of applications are you using it for?

Oil and gas company, primarily using Cygnet to monitor end devices on tank battery locations and we also do a lot in the way of measurement data collection. We have a couple of plants and do a small amount of control at those.

I don't work in the SCADA group but work with them fairly often. We're a natural gas processer and have lots 'o meters.

Haha small world. Any chance you're familiar with a local company they supply named Frontier Energy Services? (Or Frontier Midstream, Frontier Midstream LLC. . .there were several related companies).

Are you needing help troubleshooting or installing, or are you just looking to find some knowledgeable contacts for the future?

I just checked to see if I still had the cell number of my previous employer's "go-to" Scada guy, but I must have deleted it. I can probably still get contact info for several people familiar with Scada if you'd like though.

What meters do you all typically use? Ours are 95% Roc with a handful of Totalflow.
