I need to make a box full (large box) of clothes . the idea is so i can target practice with my bow.
The bolts will go through hay bales and styrofoam .I remember shooting into bags of clothing and penetration was only a couple inches deep with my compound.
No messed up fletchings.

I have not had much luck looking in dumpsters.
But going out today to look again.

I got a bunch of cardboard boxes and a little bit of clothing. I will layer them and bundle really tight.
I also got one of those large throw rugs off the side of the highway just a few minutes ago. Maybe 8x10
That should do it.
Thanks guys for the other ideas..if these do not work I will go a different path.

Anyone tried a box of carpet scraps?

I ran into with someone getting some scraps out of my dumpster one day that said he was going to stuff them in a box and arrow shoot at them, and he asked if I minded. Not sure how it worked out. Might be the back weave is too coarse and would allow too much penetration.

If you want to spend a tiny bit of money good will always has bags of t shirts for like $10 per bag. These are not shirts in the rack but pre packaged bags.
