I remember twice I tried to become a police officer. Hundreds of candidates were applying to a dozen or so jobs. I didn’t get selected for the position in Tucson, AZ, and my tattoo kept me from being eligible in OKC. These were about 20 years ago now. It’s crazy how far the pendulum has swung.

Somewhere around 10-15 years ago it leaked out that the Border Patrol had warrants for two of their agents. They were brothers and once they worked their way into the Border Patrol, they were helping illegal cross the border instead of arresting them. As soon as they found out they were wanted, they jumped back across the river.
