I actually kind of like the idea of dangerous, back-alley abortions. It is no doubt hazardous for women, but hey, if you're gonna off your own kid, maybe having some "skin in the game" isn't such a bad idea?

And then there's the irony of "conservatives" celebrating the decision - which, if the possible abortions instead result in births will do two things:

create more need for welfare state

create more left-wing voters on down the road

Complete dumbassery from both sides.

I don't think they realize just how many men have decided to go their own way and not date or marry (again or ever). And I can't say as I blame them. I have one -- hell, maybe 2 -- sons who have decided women aren't worth the trouble they tend to cause these days. There is a difference in having standards and being so high maintenance you are clinically batshit crazy ...

I've threatened both of my boys that they WILL be giving me grandkids, but neither are all that interested in marriage - my oldest openly stating what you did in your post. Modern women just aren't worth the hassle and ultimate expense.

I'm on my second and final; this marriage ends, and I won't have another one. As a buddy says, "if it floats, flies, or f*cks - rent it".

I can argue that. Personally, I think arguing it's OK to kill unborn babies for financial reasons is pretty morally bankrupt.

Normal people don't kill living beings because there might be a cost to preserving life. Adoption is also a potential way to solve the problem. Killing a baby isn't always necessary.

Tax dollars are already spent on abortions. So spending those dollars to provide for a child seems like a better alternative to me.

I celebrate it because it will save thousands of lives that would have been taken. If that creates more liberals and those on welfare then so be it. There is no proof they will end up like either of these scenarios.

I don't intend to engage in any of that activity, so it doesn't matter to me either way. I can see both sides, why I "can't" argue it. Most of those protesting are either lesbians (who can't get knocked up anyway), or manatees that are in only slightly more risk of needing an abortion as the lesbians. The rest are mostly just young, white girls that are always looking for a cause to latch onto to protest, with a sprinkling of young, white male eunuchs that follow them around, hoping to maybe score a piece.

I'm so glad that I finally got to that age where getting laid isn't top priority for me any longer.

Don't get me wrong, a little boom-boom is always a good time, but sometimes just a rub and a tug is sufficient.

Hell, I get a kick out of the ex-wives thread here, but the older I get, the more I become just a consultant.

Any man with the smallest amount of wisdom wouldn't be getting with this type of woman anyway. There is just nothing sexy about "by the way, if I get pregnant with your child I plan on murdering them because I'm lazy and selfish and you have no say in the matter. No, seriously, to feel like a full woman and because I am so smart and know what I am doing, I need to have the right to kill the baby growing in my womb."

It is insane that women were ever allowed to murder their babies like this.

Interestingly enough the pro choice movement tends to forget Kermit Gosnell's abortion "clinic" and a few others that provided crappy care to the woman getting an abortion. Abuses happen whether an activity is legal or not. In some cases those abuses are more widespread when something is legal.
