I guess if you say it enough and don't have videos with your back to the guy they kinda have to take your word for it. I think if this played out like the article said it did, the guy should be fine. IMO, the two on one thing is huge.
In my experience, riders meet at bars plenty, with no intention of drinking. It's as good a place to meet as any. Of course, many riders go to bars and get hammered, too. However, since he didn't make it there, we'll never know his intent, and no loaws were broken, so it really isn't that interesting that he said he was going to a bar.

Road rage led to the shooting death of a man outside a Brookside bar Friday evening, police said.
The shooting occurred outside the Slo Ride Saloon, in the 4100 block of South Peoria Avenue, about 8:30 p.m.
A 33-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, EMSA spokeswoman Tina Wells said.
Officer Jason Willingham said the shooting might have been committed in self-defense.
Two men in a pickup and a motorcyclist had a verbal altercation while they were both heading west on 41st Street, Willingham said. The motorcycle turned south on Peoria and stopped at the bar, he said.
The pickup circled the block and then stopped at the bar, and two men got out of the pickup, Willingham said.
A fight ensued outside the bar, and the motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, shot the pickups driver in the chest, Willingham said.
Sonny Barker, who owns the Slo Ride Saloon, said the motorcyclist is a regular at the bar and was being attacked by two men when she heard the gunshot.
The man also was trying to protect his girlfriend, Barker said. It was not clear whether the girlfriend had been on the motorcycle with him or was already at the bar.
After one man was shot, Barker saw the other man from the pickup kicking the shooter in the face, she said.
Two nurses who were in the bar at the time administered CPR to the man who was shot, she said.
We were just trying to do something to keep him alive until the ambulance got here, Barker said.
Both the shooter and the pickups passenger were taken into police custody, Willingham said.
Only one shot was fired, and police have recovered the gun, he said.
Police closed Peoria to traffic from 41st Street to roughly 43rd Street while the homicide, Tulsas sixth this year, was being investigated.
Police were talking to many witnesses and interviewed several of them at the Detective Division downtown, Willingham said.
