More fyi.

The Riverside Arms Co. name first appears in the J. Stevens Arms & Tool Co., Chicopee Falls, Mass., catalogue No. 54 issued circa 1914 on a hammerless double the No. 315 and a hammer double No. 215. These guns were based on G.S. Lewis Patents granted Feb. 10, 1914, for the hammer gun and Apr. 20, 1915, for the hammerless gun.

Yeah, I think I’m just seeing conflicting info online. Check this link out though. That is it right there. I think you nailed it!

Yeah, it appears several places online have them mixed up or combined. Not unusual on old firearms with little documentation. I just have some research experience that lets me weed out some of the misinformation.

Glad to be of help.

Also, check Jackfirst as a possibility for parts.
Edit: They have parts for the 315, but not the 215.

@caliberbob eBay may also be your friend here now that you have a model #.
Bro I have tried every search variation 😂. I did find a guy selling a 215 on gunbroker the bid is at $100 and it’s in great shape compared to mind. I don’t want to spend more than $50 on the forend at this point lol

A few other places to try. May require phone calls as they are small shops and not sure the website is current.

Good luck on your quest. One thing to consider if you do get the ol’ girl running again is it likely is NOT chambered for a 2 3/4” star crimp. Wouldn’t surprise me if it were 2 1/2”-2 9/16” roll crimp. Be a shame to go through everything to get it back in running order and then damage it shooting the wrong ammunition. 👍🏻

Wow, I would not have known that. Thank you. I’ll do some research on that too
