I seek to bank at small banks, locally ( in state ) owned and operated. I like FTF w bankers who are making decisions, and don't have to defer to nameless faceless higher-ups managers to decide for them. I totally avoid accounts w the big international banks.
I bank w Kirkpatrick in Edmond & NOKC. Limited # of branches. They have that local small town business ethic and treat you right.
I understand Citizens Bank in Edmond is similar.
I agree w Junk Yard Dog, and join a Credit Union. I'm looking for one now. Any recommendations for a good one ?

I've banked at Arvest since they took over Superior Federal and I can't think of a single good thing to say about them.

There is a bank or credit union on almost every damn corner. Life is too short to bank with jerks that provide poor customer service. Change banks.
